On almost every Human starship, usually somewhere just beneath the main view screen on the bridge, one will find a plaque. Upon this plaque one typically finds a neatly inscribed quote, a quote carefully selected for its profundity from the poetry of Shakespeare or Dickinson or Keats. The first T’Phetti starship Intrepid also had such a plaque. It also had a quote. This is what it said :
